SteelSeries Diablo III Mouse Unboxing/Impressions
Diablo III is right around the corner (at least until further notice) and the people behind the World of Warcraft gaming peripherals – SteelSeries – are back again to bring you the official Diablo III gaming mouse! STUD (Singapore's Top Unboxing Dude) here, as usual, to hold your hand through this wonderful journey. Don't tell your parents.
Thumbs to the sky!
It's a sad feeling, to hold this box and not have the game in my PC. At least I'll be ready when the game ships.
Top of the box. Love the fonts.
Left profile of the box is identical to the right
Back of the box
The literature that matters (since no one here understands anything else)
On the bottom (back) of the box, the specs
The underside of the box
Ta-da!
Again, the English literature
Time to unleash the demon
All the contents of the box. We'll skip the manuals.
Gold plated USB
USB cable is braided, with accents of red.
On to the main event, the mouse! Pretty sweet designs on the mouse.
This is an ambidextrous mouse, so both sides have the same button layout.
Notice the colour of the Diablo III logo is different from the rest of the art on the mouse. It glows.
The scroll wheel and profile button's indicator light up as well. The scroll wheel is also aesthetically designed to match Diablo III's overall theme.
Size wise, the Diablo III mouse (right) is pretty much identical to the SteelSeries Sensei (left)
As you can see, the finish of the Diablo III mouse has a rubbery finish. Notice the scroll on both mice.
The underside of the both mice (Sensei on left, Diablo III on right).
Out of the box, the Diablo III pulsates red. You CAN customise the colour of the illumination, as well as the scroll wheel and profile indicator.
Here's a clearer view of the illumination.
So how does the SteelSeries Diablo III mouse fair? Don't forget to check out Playworks magazine to find out. In the meantime, stay locked-on to Playworks for the latest updates, unboxings, and contests!
